Well, to sum it up, the Waterfowl Festival is an annual event that takes place in the fall within the historic town of Easton, MD.
It is a celebration of the founding organization’s dedication to wildlife conservation and the promotion of wildlife art and community, coupled with the long-standing Eastern Shore tradition of sporting.
Well, it reaches way back to a period of time when the Chesapeake Bay area was home to an almost incalculable amount of waterfowl: ducks and geese who would migrate to the area during the winter months.
But don’t be fooled, the activities here do not only accommodate the sportsman. There are numerous things to see, do, watch, and taste that make it an enjoyable few days for the whole family – kids included.
Not sure – check it out!
Here is a list of some of the Waterfowl activities and events taking place in Easton to enjoy:
You will also be happy to know that the funds go towards a good cause in that they help support the preservation of the area’s wildlife and habitat which are an integral part of the Eastern Shore’s way of life.
So don’t miss this three-day festival that takes place every November. Just relax and take in the numerous opportunities whether you are walking down Harrison St. to the tasting pavilion and checking out art exhibits along the way or are visiting the Waterfowl headquarters on 40 S.
